  • Use of Measuring Instruments (Scale, Tape, Tester, etc.)

Module 2: Electrical Tools and Materials

Duration: 2 Weeks

  • Identification of Hand Tools

  • Use of Pliers, Screwdrivers, Wire Strippers, Soldering Iron

  • Wires, Cables, Switches, Fuses, and Connectors

  • Jointing of Wires (Twisted, Rat Tail, Britannia)

Module 3: Basic Electrical Theory

Duration: 2 Weeks

  • Concepts of Voltage, Current, Resistance, and Power

  • Ohm’s Law and Kirchhoff’s Laws

  • Series and Parallel Circuits

  • Types of Current: AC and DC

  • Electrical Units and Calculations

Module 4: Wiring Systems and Installations

Duration: 3 Weeks

  • Types of Wiring: Cleat, Casing-Capping, Conduit

  • Domestic Wiring & Switchboard Installation

  • Wiring Diagram Reading

  • Earthing Systems and Testing

  • Lighting Circuits and Load Calculations

Module 5: Electrical Machines & Appliances

Duration: 3 Weeks

  • Working of Transformers, Motors (Single & Three Phase)

  • Use of Relays, Contactors, MCBs, RCCBs

  • Repair and Maintenance of Electrical Appliances

  • Installation of Fans, Mixers, Irons, etc.

Module 6: Battery & UPS Systems

Duration: 2 Weeks

  • Lead Acid Battery – Charging, Testing

  • Inverter, UPS – Working and Installation

  • Maintenance and Fault Finding

Module 7: Renewable Energy Basics (Optional)

Duration: 1 Week

  • Introduction to Solar Energy

  • Solar PV System Components

  • Solar Installation Safety and Wiring
